A few pictures from a recent sunset portrait photo session in Alvarado Park, Richmond, CA. This session was done for a father and his son who had only recently started walking. As parents may know, children this age like to constantly move and this little one was no exception. Photographing a child this age is a lot like photographing a sports event with only one player. What works best is for the parent to focus on their own disposition and expression while I keep my eyes on the child’s expression.

Davis Family Portrait Session
These family portrait photos were taken in Oakland at Morcom Rose Garden. This location is an oasis in the middle of Oakland. It is usually quiet and despite its relatively small size, it offers a wide variety of places for families to pose for both individual and group portraits.

Baptism Party Photos
Selected photos from a baptism/birthday party held at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove. Part of this event was captured on a warm and sunny afternoon in a very scenic location. I was a very well planned and child centered event with places for children run, play, eat and socialize. The children took delight in jumping in the mini bouncy house and eating at a small, low table specially setup for them.
